Winter holidays

from February 8 to March 9, 2025

We open the castle for the winter holidays from Saturday February 8 to Sunday March 9, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (last admission 5 p.m.).

The brewery is closed and there is no presentation of birds of prey.

Enjoy the castle, even in winter!

During these holidays, we offer you a visit to the castle, the chapel and the gardens as well as fun activities!

For workshops, parents are welcome and can have fun with their child if the workshop is not full. Our workshops are very interactive!

Finally, for those who are more cautious, the castle is well heated.

Immersion aviary: 2 p.m.-5:30 p.m., every day.

No extra charge for entertainment.

The Falconry workshop for children (Children from 5 to 13 years old

Come play at the castle like a princess or a falconer! Discovery of the world of birds of prey by handling equipment. Surprises await you!

Workshop at 3:30 p.m.: Monday to Friday
From Monday February 10 to Friday March 7, 2025.

Child aged 5 to 13 – Duration 30 min – a parent is invited to follow their childs during the workshop (limited to one adult per family for organizational and safety reasons).

Parents wishing to enroll their 4-year-old child in the falconry workshop can do so subject to available places and payment of child entry, like children over 5 years old.

Limited to 12 children.

NEW ! Participatory workshop “the culinary art of Milandes during the Renaissance”

Help Judith, the servant of the lords of Caumont, to set their table! What did people eat during the Renaissance? How has cooking evolved with the arrival of new products? Do the servants of the castle eat the same thing as the lords of Caumont? How do you prepare and serve a noble meal? She will give you all the answers!

The Musketeers workshop: “Swords in hand” (children aged 8 to 88)

Share a fencing lesson with the lord of Caumont-La Force if you want to follow him to the king's court and become a musketeer!
